Team Success Story
“Stephanie was pivotal in preparing me for the aftermath of sustaining an ACL injury”
“I became a patient of Stephanie Ferro, DPT, in August 2018 when I was being treated for shoulder pain. She was able to pinpoint what was causing the pain and provided a successful treatment plan. A few months later, I was playing tennis and slipped on the court. Unfortunately, I ruptured my ACL and sustained a bucket handle tear of my medial and lateral menisci. Fortunately, I knew I would be in good hands post-surgery with Stephanie as my physical therapist. I was not mentally prepared for the aftermath of sustaining this injury and Stephanie was pivotal in that aspect as well. From the start, she’s been encouraging and very knowledgeable. I am very happy with my progress under her care. Now that I am stronger and am able to exercise again, I’ve been training with Rachel Farr, CPT, at The FIT Institute. Not only is she fun to work with and pushes me, I am also very thankful that there’s an opportunity for Rachel and Stephanie to collaborate regarding my physical therapy and personal training goals. I started working with Rachel specifically on upper body and core exercises. Now, lower body exercises have been incorporated into my training and I’m quite pleased that Rachel has a lot experience training those with ACL injuries.”
