January 30th, 2018

The Super Bowl is a huge sports event, but it’s also one of those things that require a lot of attention and preparation. A lot of people end up drinking and eating way too much during Super Bowl parties. This is why it’s a good idea to prepare some healthy snacks for the upcoming Super Bowl party and stay FIT while having fun.

What foods should you consider for the Super Bowl parties?

Super Bowl parties are designed to be fun and interesting. They are a great time for the entire family and friends. And yes, with the right approach, they can also be very healthy. It all comes down to the foods you want to opt for.

Pesto and Turkey Cucumber Rollups

This is a great option because you do have plenty of meat, but you also get to add avocado and cucumber, which are extremely healthy and very good for you. It can be a bit tricky to slice the cucumber here, but it will surely be worth it.

Tomato Hummus

Chickpea hummus combined with some tomato paste works well. You can serve it with some chips, veggie sticks or some whole wheat pita. It works great especially if you have a lot of people coming in to the party. And yes, preparing the tomato hummus doesn’t eat up a lot of time either.

Zucchini Fries

While you can do some potato fries, zucchini is also great for preparing fries. And the best part is that zucchini is a good manganese and Vitamin C source. As a result, you and your friends get to eat healthy while enjoying the game as well!

Herb-Marinated Chicken Skewers

If you want to have some chicken, then opt for chicken skewers. Marinate them in some oregano, rosemary, and cumin to get the best effect. The entire result can be astonishing here, and it won’t cost that much either.

Crusted Salmon Fingers

Salmon is a very healthy food, and the Crusted Salmon Fingers are easy to do too. Chicken fingers are great, but they are fattening as well. So, you want to opt for the Crusted Salmon Fingers as they are a lot healthier. Plus, they taste amazing!

Apple and Brie Quesadillas

In case you want to keep the food 100% vegetarian, the Apple and Brie Quesadillas can be a good option. There’s no need to add meat here, only some brie cheese and apples. You will need some bread, and this will round up the great taste of this unique food.

As you can see, there are tons of great, healthy Super Bowl foods. Just because you want to eat healthy doesn’t mean you have to have food, which tastes rather bland. What you should do is to give these great foods a try and see if they suit your needs. All of these are very tasty and healthy, so you should give them a shot at this next Super Bowl party!
