Meredeth Duggan

(Pilates Instructor)

Meredeth Duggan is a Certified Pilates Instructor at TFI Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, where she leads both small group classes and private sessions, incorporating a variety of equipment including the Reformer with Tower, Mat, Cadillac, Chair, Spine Corrector, and Magic Circle. With over 20 years of Pilates experience and 15 years as a competitive gymnast, Meredeth brings a strong foundation in movement, alignment, and body mechanics. She has also coached girls’ gymnastics at both the high school and competitive team levels.

After sustaining a back injury during gymnastics, a neck injury from a car accident, and recovering from two C-sections, Meredeth turned to Pilates and physical therapy as key components of her rehabilitation. Her personal journey not only alleviated chronic lower back pain but also greatly improved her posture, core stability, balance, strength, and flexibility.

Meredeth is passionate about Pilates because it is both challenging and low impact, leaving her and her clients feeling energized and empowered after every session. She is committed to helping individuals of all ages and fitness levels build strength, improve flexibility, and achieve their personal fitness goals—ultimately leading to a better quality of life.

She holds a BA in Criminal Justice from Illinois State University, where she also had the opportunity to study abroad in India. With 16 years of experience managing insurance bodily injury claims, Meredeth has developed a strong sense of empathy and attention to detail. Outside the studio, she enjoys traveling and spending summer days golfing and boating with her husband Pat and two adult sons, Ryan and Brady.
