Build a Career That Moves People Forward
Rehab Aide Job in Chicago, IL
The FIT Institute (TFI) is hiring for a Rehab Aide job in Chicago, and we’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping people move better and feel stronger. This entry-level role sits at the center of our clinic’s day-to-day rhythm, working alongside our physical therapists and personal training staff to keep patient care running smoothly, from the moment someone walks through the door to the moment they leave feeling like progress was made.
A Practice Built on Compassion, Excellence, and Community
TFI Physical Therapy & Sports Performance was built on the mission of bridging high-quality rehabilitation with sports performance and fitness training, so that patients and athletes move better, feel stronger, and get back to what they love. Our core values of compassion, excellence, integrity, and community guide how we treat patients and how we treat each other, and we’re proud to serve the Chicago and Vernon Hills communities while helping our staff build long-term, meaningful careers. We look for therapy and administrative staff who bring drive, passion, and a genuine desire to help others, because that’s what keeps our patients coming back and our team growing together.
You’ll be working out of our 6,000-square-foot North Side facility, which gives our physical therapists and personal training staff access to top-of-the-line fitness and rehabilitative equipment. Our expanding practice means there’s real room to grow here too. As you settle into the role, there are ongoing opportunities to keep learning new techniques, take on more responsibility, and build toward a long-term career in rehabilitation or fitness, rather than just clocking in and out.
What Your Days Will Look Like
You’ll greet and prepare paperwork for new clients and patients, then work directly under the direction of our physical therapists to guide patients through their exercises and give them the encouragement and feedback that keeps them motivated. Between sessions, you’ll keep the fitness floor clean, safe, and organized, racking weights, clearing towels and water bottles, and working through our daily and weekly cleanliness checklists so the space stays ready for the next patient. You’ll also help schedule patients and personal training clients by phone and in person, and step in on front desk duties whenever our office manager needs backup.
It’s a role that rewards someone who can move between hands-on patient support and behind-the-scenes organization without missing a beat. One hour you might be walking a patient through a set of guided exercises, and the next you’re resetting the floor or helping a new client fill out intake paperwork. If you take pride in a clean, well-run clinic and enjoy being part of the small moments that add up to a patient’s recovery, you’ll fit right in here.
Compensation:
- $17.05 / hour
Benefits:
- PTO accrual
- Access to gym facility
If you want to spend your days on your feet, helping real patients make real progress, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about the Chicago community it serves, we’d love to hear from you. This is a place where the small things, a clean floor, a well-run front desk, an encouraging word during someone’s exercises, add up to patients feeling supported every step of the way.
