Karlee Barton

I got my DPT from Midwestern University in 2024 with experiences in acute care, sports and pediatrics. While I learned a multitude of things from each rotation, I really enjoyed my time at the sports-orthopedic clinic (and not just because it was in Arizona during an Illinois winter) where I got to treat high level athletes at the collegiate and even professional level. Those who are motivated with an end goal of getting back out on the court, field, etc., makes progress within a plan of care feel even greater. All sports are amazing to work with, but with a background in softball and volleyball, I am passionate about working with overhead/throwing athletes.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science at University of Wisconsin Whitewater where I was an NCAA bowler.
In my free time, I like go to the gym and play as many sports as I can, with a little healthy competition from my boyfriend.
I also enjoy going to concerts from the smallest of venues in Chicago, to the big stages at Lollapalooza.
