Virtual Neck & Upper Back Workshop Day 2

Virtual Neck & Upper Back Workshop Day 2

Join Tom Dyke, Physical Therapist and Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, for a virtual workshop discussing neck and upper back pain.

With increased amounts of work and meetings at home, you may have noticed an increase in neck pain, stiffness, or even upper back pain.

Your workstation may have transitioned from a standing desk at work to a soft couch and a laptop. You may be spending an increased amount of time on your phone texting or emailing.

This workshop will focus on the how, the why, and the “what can I do about it”.

There will be a general discussion regarding the anatomy of the cervical and thoracic spine, or the neck and upper back, and how this part of our body plays a role in the work we do.

How does our workstations impact our body? How do our sleep positions? Why does movement, or lack thereof, change the way I feel?

Tom will take your questions and specific issues that you are experiencing and help develop a plan to improve your function and reduce your pain.

This plan may consist of education regarding your work station, application of a few specific exercises, or a more in-depth physical examination if needed.

We don’t realize how much our neck and upper body moves during the day until we experience limitations.

Join Tom for this workshop so we can get you on the right path for reduced pain and better movement!
