Caroline Kurdej , Marketing Leader

Caroline Kurdej is a current graduate student at Northwestern University, pursuing an MS in Sports Journalism. She earned her undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and English from DePaul University, where she ran Division I cross country and track for four years. During her time as an athlete, she spent just as much time in the training room to as she did at practice, either warding off or treating her injuries.

At Green Mountain Running Camp in New Hampshire, Caroline served as a running camp counselor where she conducted core, strength training and mobility sessions, as well as led campers through trail runs and coached them through tough track workouts. She also shared valuable insight on the student-athlete experience and spoke on perspectives as both a former high school and collegiate athlete.

Caroline debuted in her Chicago Marathon in October of 2019 and competed in the Chicago Triathlon-turned-duathlon in August of 2019, earning third in her collegiate competitive division and qualifying for the Life Time Tri Championship in New York. She believes the resilience and strength learned in sport transfer over to the classroom, the workforce and beyond.

She has a passion for all sports, from skiing and hiking to beach volleyball, yoga and swimming. Caroline strives to share her passion for sports, rehabilitation and strength training with others. She looks forward to intertwining her business and writing background to share TFI’s vision with those looking to become the best athlete and stronger version of themselves.
